Sequel Confirmed: 'Welcome 4' in Development as 'Welcome to the Jungle' Nears Release

New Delhi. Audiences are currently waiting to see when the third installment of the 'Welcome' franchise, 'Welcome to the Jungle,' will hit the big screen. The film had been stalled for a long time. Important information has emerged about 'Welcome 4' even before the release of 'Welcome to the Jungle.' Producers have confirmed that 'Welcome 4' will be made. Whether we will see the reunion of Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor as Uday and Majnu in this film remains to be seen.

Franchise producer Firoz Nadiadwala has confirmed that work is underway on 'Welcome 4.' He stated that work on the next chapter of the film has begun and the script is currently in the final stages. In an interview with E-Times, Firoz Nadiadwala mentioned that the fourth film will be grander than the previous ones. He said, 'We are in the final stages of the screenplay. The music and action we have planned will be massive.' He also mentioned that the film's music will be multicultural and will bring together talent from regions such as the Middle East, Africa, the United States, and China.

Will Majnu Bhai and Uday Shetty Return?

He also hinted that the story of the film will feature many villains. This will increase the challenges for other iconic characters from the franchise films. Nadiadwala stated that the presence of many other dons, along with the reunion of characters like Uday Bhai, Majnu Bhai, and Dr. Ghungroo, could create an explosive experience on screen.

'Welcome to the Jungle' is Ready

During the conversation, Firoz Nadiadwala also addressed the delay in the release of 'Welcome to the Jungle.' He dismissed rumors and clarified that the film is complete. This multi-starrer film is directed by Ahmed Khan. The Akshay Kumar-led Welcome franchise began in 2007. Welcome Back, released in 2015, starred John Abraham in the lead role. However, Akshay returns to the franchise with the third film, 'Welcome to the Jungle.' However, Nana Patekar is not part of this film. This time, the film will feature a large star cast. The film is slated for release in theaters on June 26, 2026.
