UAE Ministry of Defense Details Iranian Attacks Since February 28, Confirming One Nepali Casualty

Abu Dhabi. The UAE Ministry of Defense has released detailed information regarding the Iranian attacks that began on February 28.

According to the Ministry, the UAE Air Force and Air Defense systems have so far confronted 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 541 Iranian drones during these attacks. Three people were killed in these incidents, including one Nepali national, as reported by Gulf News. 

It is also mentioned that 58 individuals from various nations sustained minor injuries. However, the identity of the deceased Nepali national has not been disclosed. 

The UAE Ministry of Defense stated that the other two deceased individuals were Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals. The news also mentioned that the UAE confronted 165 ballistic missiles and 541 Iranian drones in the attacks that started on February 28. 

Fifty-eight people were slightly injured due to the attacks, including citizens from Emirati, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, and Afghan nationalities.

According to the UAE Ministry of Defense, out of the 165 ballistic missiles fired from Iran since the attacks began, 152 were destroyed, and 13 fell into the sea. 

The news also mentioned that two cruise missiles were detected and destroyed.
