Shivaratri draws devotees and saints to Pashupatinath (photos)

Kathmandu, February 25 — The presence and activity of babas and saints have increased at the Pashupatinath Temple area in celebration of this year's Maha Shivaratri on Wednesday.

Sadhu and saints from neighboring countries India, Bangladesh, and various parts of Nepal have already arrived at the Pashupati area. Due to the ongoing Kumbh Mela in India, the number of saints expected this year is comparatively lower.

The Pashupati Area Development Trust has made arrangements to ensure devotees can visit and offer prayers comfortably during Maha Shivaratri.

For the convenience of the devotees, ten sub-committees have been formed, and Rajkumar Khatri, the coordinator of the publicity and decoration sub-committee, shared this information.
