Bhai Tika auspicious time set for Sunday at 11:37 AM

Kathmandu, November 2 — The auspicious time for Bhai Tika is at 11:37 AM on Sunday. The Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee has announced that the time of 11:37 AM is considered favorable for Bhai Tika.

According to the Executive Director of the committee, Surya Prasad Dhungel, Bhai Tika should be applied facing the west. It has also been mentioned that the Newar community's Kijapuja should be conducted on the same day.

The second largest festival for Nepalis, Tihar, began on the 13th of Kartik on Tuesday. The festivals of Kukur Tihar, Narak Chaturdashi, Deepmalika, and Laxmi Puja were celebrated on the 15th of Kartik. The new moon occurred on the 16th of Kartik (Friday).

On Saturday, the festivities of Gaigoru Puja, Govardhan Puja, Bali Puja, Halitihar, and Mha Puja took place, and the Nepal Sambat 1145 also commenced. The committee has indicated that the Chhath festival falls on the 22nd of Kartik (Thursday).
