Western winds bring partial cloud cover across Nepal
Kathmandu, October 29 — The Department of Meteorology has reported that western winds, along with some local winds in the hilly regions, are partially influencing the weather across the country. As a result, there will be partial cloud cover in the hilly areas, while other regions will mostly experience clear weather.
This afternoon, the hilly areas will have partial to generally cloudy conditions, while other areas will see mostly clear skies with some partial cloud cover. In the Koshi Province and certain locations in the hilly regions of the country, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms.
Tonight, the weather will remain partially to generally cloudy in the Koshi Province and the hilly areas, while other regions will mostly be clear with some partial cloud cover. There is still a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms in a few places in the hilly regions of the Koshi and Gandaki Provinces.
The Department has advised necessary precautions, as light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms is expected in a few locations in the Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, which could have a partial impact on agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, and road and air transportation.
