Project begins to control Darwang River

 

 

Babiyachaur   The Malika rural municipality has begun a project to control Myagdi River at Darwang which has long been facing a problem of erosion. 


The construction of a RCC wall has begun on the banks of the river through a users' committee to check erosion, shared Malika Chairperson Shree Prasad Roka. 


For the purpose of river control, the rural municipality has allocated Rs 1.5 million and ward-6 office has appropriated Rs 300,000. Likewise, local community people will donate kind labour amounting to Rs 200,000.
