Elephant attack kills 63-year-old in Bara

Bara, October 14 — One person has died following an elephant attack in Bara.

According to police spokesperson Prakash Sapkota, 63-year-old Hasta Bahadur Thokar, a resident of Kolhabi Municipality-2, was killed by an elephant today.

This morning, Thokar was attacked by the elephant while he was out cutting grass. When he did not return home for a long time, his family members and villagers went into the jungle to search for him.

During the search, they found Thokar dead and informed the police.

The police have stated that Thokar's body has been sent to the provincial hospital in Kalaiya for an autopsy.

A few days ago, an elephant was found dead in Kolhabi Municipality-2.
