Nepal and Uzbekistan to battle it out for CAVA Volleyball title today

Kathmandu, October 12 —  Nepal is playing against Uzbekistan for the title of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) U-20 Men's Volleyball Championship today.

The final match will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka at 3.00pm local time. 

Nepal entered the final of the Championship, defeating Turkmenistan by a straight set of 3-0 in the last game of the league round held on Friday. 

Before this, Nepal trounced Sri Lanka and Maldives in straight set of 3-0 each while facing a defeat of 1-3 at the hands of Uzbekistan and 2-3 against Kyrgyzstan. 

Nepal entered the final remaining in second place while Uzbekistan made it to the final retaining the first position with cent per cent victory. 

Uzbekistan had won all the matches in the group stage.

Turkmenistan, Maldives, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Nepal and hosts Sri Lanka had participated in the Championship organized by Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation.
