Cancer victim gets support from Korea
Terhathum - Nepali people working in South Korea have aided over Rs 200,000 to cancer survivor Torna Maden of Chhathar rural municipality-6, Sudap of Terhathum district.
The support was channelized through Sudap Non-Immigrant Liaison Committee with active role of youths working in South Korea.
The amount was handed over to the victim family by organizing a programme at Shukrabare on Thursday, shared campaigner of Save Maden Campaign, Santosh Khewa.
Chhathar rural municipality Chair Santabir Limbu and campaigner of Save Maden Campaign Guman Khewa jointly handed the amount to the family.
Support is pouring in from different countries for the treatment of Maden especially on the initiatives of young Nepali immigrant workers.
