Preparations underway for 'National Day Concert' in Durbar Marga (photos)

Kathmandu, September 18 — Preparations for the "National Day Concert" taking place in Durbar Marg on Constitution Day are in full swing. With the concert scheduled for tomorrow, traffic has been restricted in the area.

According to the Valley Traffic Police Office, vehicles coming from Keshar Mahal Chowk towards the southern gate of Narayanhiti have been diverted towards Jamal, while vehicles approaching the southern gate from Jay Nepal Chowk are being redirected towards Krishna Pauroti.

Additionally, vehicles heading to the southern gate from Mahendra Salik Chowk have been diverted towards Ghantaghar.

The government has decided to hold the main ceremony for Constitution Day at the Army Parade Ground in Tundikhel on September 19 and a musical program on the evening of the same day on the road in front of Narayanhiti Palace.

The concert will feature performances by popular artists including Ananda Karki, Kunti Moktan, Devika Bandana, Sugam Pokharel, Deepak Limbu, Pramod Kharel, Siwani Moktan, Swapna Suman, and renowned bands Kutumba and Elements.
