Two sisters found poisoned in Morang

Biratnagar, August 31 — Two girls have been murdered in Sundarharaicha, Morang. The bodies of the sisters, Arpana Karki, 3, and Aika Karki, 1, were found at Gothgaun in Keraghari of Sundarharaicha Municipality-7.

According to the police, the girls, who were the daughters of 31-year-old Arjun Karki and 29-year-old Asmita Paudel, were killed by being poisoned. The police also found pesticides at the scene where the dead bodies of children were discovered.

SP Navraj Karki of the District Police Office Morang informed that Arjun and Asmita had an argument earlier in the day.

The bodies were found in the afternoon, around 4:30 PM, by locals who had informed the Gachia police station about the children being found in a banana plantation belonging to Narayan Neupane.

The police have arrived at the scene and are currently investigating.

It has been noted that Arjun Karki is a driver.
