Mahakali Zonal Hospital resumes service

Bhimdattanagar, Kanchanpur - Mahakali Zonal Hospital that halted its all services following a protest on Saturday resumed service on Sunday. 
All services of the hospital were closed down following misbehaviors with hospital doctors and health workers by family and relatives of Kalawati Sarki, a patient, who died in the course of treatment at the hospital. They accused doctors of negligence in the treatment of Sarki leading to her death. 

An agreement has been struck between family of the deceased and the hospital administration leading to the resumption of the hospital services. The Ministry of Social Development of Province 7 would be requested to form a committee to probe the incident and call doctors from Dhangadhi to examine Sarki's body, according to the agreement.
