Sanjay Dutt on UK visa being rejected: They need to rectify this

New Delhi, August 10: Sanjay Dutt, in a new interview finally broke the silence over his UK visa being rejected by the government. The actor was set to travel to the UK for the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Son of Sardaar.’

In an interview with Bombay Times, Sanjay Dutt expressed his frustration with the decision, stating that the UK government acted unfairly. He explained, “They gave me the Visa (initially). in the United Kingdom, Everything was ready. Then a month later you are cancelling my Visa! I gave you (the UK government) all the papers and everything. Why did you give me the Visa (in the first place)? You shouldn’t have given me the visa. How come it took you one month to realise the laws?"

Additionally, there were reports suggesting that Sanjay Dutt has been replaced by Ravi Kishan in the film and that Dutt will now have only a cameo role. When asked about this, the actor declined to comment and claimed to be unaware of any such changes.

The ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S also clarified that he isn’t truly missing out on the project. “I am not missing out on anything. But yes, they have done wrong. They need to rectify this. I am a law-abiding citizen. I go according to the law and I respect every country’s law,” he added.

Ajay Devgn has already begun the shooting of the forthcoming film. He shared the exciting news on Instagram with a montage of behind-the-scenes clips from the film's set. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film will have an extensive shooting schedule in the UK, followed by India.

The first installment, 'Son of Sardaar', featured Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. In 'Son of Sardaar 2', Ajay Devgn will reprise his role, while reports suggest that Sanjay Dutt has been replaced by Ravi Kishan. Mrunal Thakur is reportedly cast as the female lead.
