Berlin. Germany plans to cut military aid to Ukraine next year. It is said that the current aid will be reduced to half.

Germany has been giving Ukraine about 8 billion euros in annual aid. This aid may drop to four billion euros from 2025. G7 member countries are planning to collect 50 billion dollars from Russia's confiscated assets. This plan will secure much-needed aid to Ukraine in the near future.

After the United States, Germany is the second largest donor to Ukraine. In 2024, Germany allocated about 7 billion 50 million Euro budget for Ukraine. The cut comes at a time when Ukraine and its European allies fear that the US will cut aid to Ukraine. If former President Donald Trump wins the November presidential election in the United States, he may block aid to Ukraine.
