Nepal secures third straight win, defeats Hong Kong by eight wickets

KATHMANDU: Nepal continues its winning streak in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup, being held in Oman, with a convincing victory over Hong Kong.

In Monday's match at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground, Nepal dominated Hong Kong, winning by eight wickets.

Hong Kong, after losing the toss and batting first, managed to score 114 runs in 17 overs, losing all their wickets.

In the second innings, Nepal successfully chased down the target of 115 runs in just 12.2 overs.

Nepal has showcased impressive performances in previous matches, defeating Malaysia by five wickets in the opening encounter and securing a 32-run victory against Qatar in the second match.

With this win, Nepal now leads the points table in Group 'A with six points,' which comprises Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Qatar, with three victories in a row.
