Nepal secures victory against Ireland ‘A’ with six-wicket win

KATHMANDU: Nepal emerged triumphant against Ireland ‘A’ in a T20 match held on Monday, clinching victory by six wickets.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Ireland ‘A’ managed to post a total of 121 runs before losing all their wickets in the stipulated 20 overs at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

In pursuit of the modest target of 122 runs, Nepal showcased a dominant performance, successfully chasing down the target in just 16.1 overs.

Sandeep Jora, Kushal Bhurtel, and Dipendra Singh Airee played crucial roles for Nepal in achieving the victory.

Jora contributed 36 runs, while Bhurtel and Singh remained unbeaten with 37 and 20 runs respectively.
