Tribhuvan Army Club sets a target of 280 runs for Karnali as Binod Bhandari breaks record in PM Cup
KATHMANDU: Captain of Tribhuvan Army Club hit a century in a match of Prime Minister Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament 2024 playing against Karnali Province on Sunday.
With this century, Binod Bhandari has become the only player to hit three centuries in the PM Cup history.
Earlier winning the toss, Karnali Province had chosen to bowl first.
Getting the invitation to bat first, the Army scored a total of 279 runs in the loss of five wickets in allocated 50 overs with Bhandari scoring 100 runs and Basir Ahamed adding 98 more.
For Karnali Province, Dipendra Rawat took two wickets while Prakash Jaisi, Dinesh Adhikari and Diwan Pun took one wicket each.
