Complaint registered against GB Rai and Rabi Lamichhane at Cooperative Department

KATHMANDU: A formal complaint was submitted to the Cooperative Department against GB Rai, Chairman of Gorkha Media Group, and the former Managing Director and Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane on Wednesday. 

Yubraj Safal, the complainant, has accused Rai and Lamichhane of alleged financial misconduct within the cooperative sector, citing violations of laws.

The complaint urges a thorough investigation into the matter and calls for appropriate legal actions against them.

In addition, the complainant has drawn the attention of the concerned Minister and has requested an inquiry into the documents and agreements related to the issuance and receipt of loans.

The Cooperative Department is expected to conduct an investigation to ascertain the veracity of the allegations and take necessary actions accordingly.
