Lucky Film Awards to be held on October 12

KATHMANDU, Oct 2:  The Nplus Professional Lucky Film Awards ceremony is going to be held in Chitwan on October 12. 

The Awards are presented by Lucky Media House under the title of 'Lucky Filmy Awards 2080' This is the first time such an event is being held in Chitwan, according to the organisers. 

At a press conference held here on Sunday, the best five nominations for best actress, actor, director, film, singer (male and female), musician, scriptwriter, cinematographer, and editor categories were announced.

On the occasion, Hari Karki 'Lucky', the coordinator of the award and the general manager of Lucky Media House, said that the awards ceremony will be held at Chitwan Cineplex CG Mall, Bharatpur.

Senior filmmaker, writer and director Mohan Niraula is the coordinator of the jury of the awards, while senior journalist and lyricist Shantipriya and senior journalist and director Vijayratna Tuladhar are the members. 

Established in Chitwan in 2014, Lucky Media House has been organising various programs for the promotion and development of the Nepali film sector.
