19th Asian Games: Nepali players all defeated in taekwondo

HANGZHOU, Sep 28: Nepal has been left without any medal in taekwondo at the ongoing 19th Asian Games. In today's match in the 80 kg group, Nepal's Jacky Yadav lost 2-0 points to Jordan's player. With this defeat of Yadav, Nepal's hope of getting a medal in taekwondo has been shattered.
A total of 11 Nepali athletes participated in taekwondo. Earlier, Anjali Tamang was defeated in the 49 kg group, and Gobinda Ale in the 63 kg group.
In the Asian Games, Nepal has not won any medals in taekwondo since 2006 but has won a silver and 13 bronzes before that.
