Poem: The Sun

The Sun is hot,
And, it is bright.
It says, “Because I am bright, I give you all light,”
Isn’t that right?

The Sun isn’t a planet,
Neither a satellite.
It is the only star that greets us in daylight,
Isn’t that right?

From East to West,
The Sun says good morning and good night.
Makes us smile wide,
Isn’t that right?

Oh! What if the sun disappears,
And, leaves us all in darkness.
We'll be in the sea of grief,
Isn’t that right?
