Asian Games: China ranked first with 19 medals including 13 gold medals

KATHMANDU, Sep 24: The host country China is in first place in the medal table so far in the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou. China has won a total of 19 medals including 13 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.

South Korea is second in the medal table with a total of 10 medals including 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 silver medals. Japan is in third place with 7 medals including 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.

Uzbekistan is fourth with a total of 6 medals including 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze while Chinese Taipei is in fifth with a total of 3 medals including 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.

Likewise, Hong Kong is in sixth place with a total of 2 medals including 1 gold and 1 bronze medal so far. Other countries participating in the Asian countries have not won a gold medal.
