19th Asian Games: Shooting players Salisha and Sushmita knocked out in preliminaries

KATHMANDU, Sep 24: Nepali players Salisha Bhandari and Sushmita Nepal have been knocked out of the Women’s 10-meter air rifle shooting preliminaries in the ongoing 19th Asian Games being held in China.

Salisha ranked 47th, while Sushmita ranked 58th among the 62 participants in the competition. Only Abdul Rahman Sharafiyya from the Maldives ranked behind Sushmita.

China’s Huang Yuting grabbed the gold, while Han Jiayu, also from China, got the silver medal, and India’s Ramita got the bronze in the tournament.
