KATHMANDU, Sep 14: The funeral of Subash Nemwang, the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, was held with state honours today. Late Nemwang, also the Vice Chairman of CPN-UML, was cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat on Thursday.

Political leaders and personnel, including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Speaker Devraj Ghimire and other ministers have paid their last respects to the late Nemwang. A unit of the Nepalese army also saluted as a tribute to him.

Before his cremation, his dead body from taken from his private residence in Baluwatar to Teaching Hospital, Narayangopal Chowk, Dhumbarahi, Chabahil before finally reaching Pashupati.
