‘Gaun Aaeko Bato’ premiered at Toronto International Film Festival
KATHMANDU, Sep 11: The movie ‘Gaun Aaeko Bato’ which has been directed by Navin Subba had a grand premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada on Sunday.
The audience praised the acting of artists Dayahang Rai and Pashupati Rai along with the movie.
Writer Manjushree Thapa, who went to the premiere to watch the movie, shared the photos of the premiere on Facebook. After the screening, she said that director Navin Subba is an independent director of the first generation. Actress Pashupati Rai also said that her role is widely being talked about.
Along with Director Subba and artists, producer Aamod Rai was also present at the premiere. The movie was made with investments from the community level. The scriptwriters of the movie are Mahesh Rai and director Navin Subba, while the Cinematography has been done by American citizen Josh Herum, editing by Kwan Pun Leung, and music by Heidi Lee. The movie stars Dayahang Rai, Pashupati Rai, Prasan Rai, Keshav Rai, Prem Subba, Raj Thapa, Sumitra Rai, etc.
The film was produced under the banner of Mencchyam Pictures with the support of Chhomolongma Productions and Gaunghar Film Productions.
