Nepalese players welcomed at airport after returning from Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU, Sep 6: The Nepalese Cricket Team has returned to Nepal after participating in the Asia Cup Cricket tournament.

Although the Nepalese players couldn't win the tournament against top dogs, they have won the hearts of Nepalese fans.

Cricket fans and the officials of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) alike visited Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome the players.

The Nepalese team were welcomed with flowers and musical instruments by fans at the airport. Cricket fans were scrambling to take pictures with the players.

In the Asia Cup, Nepal played against Pakistan in the first match and India in the second. Nepal was eliminated from the group stage after losing both matches.
