Patient death case: Tension arises in hospital as discussion ends without conclusion

DHANGADI, Aug 28: The discussion between the Swastik Hospital Administration and the relatives of the deceased has ended without any conclusion.

Aijanlal Chaudhary, 55, who was a resident of Shivanagar, Belauri Municipality-10, Kanchanpur, was admitted to the hospital due to problems in his kidney. He passed away due to extreme bleeding during the operation of his left kidney according to the hospital.

The relatives of the patient demanded the hospital to take action against the doctors involved in the treatment, reveal the truth of the incident and provide appropriate compensation for the death.

However, the hospital took the stance that it could not provide compensation other than employment for one person and simple expenses. As a result, the discussion was inconclusive.

The relatives started demonstrating a protest against the hospital after the discussion ended without a conclusion. Ramu Kushmi, a relative of the deceased, alleged that the discussion was inconclusive as the hospital administration did not take them seriously. The relatives have reportedly tried to lock the hospital in protest.
