Kantipur TV to premier first Nepalese cooking show

KATHMANDU, Aug 21: A reality show related to food and cooking is going to be organised for the first time on Nepalese TV. 

The cooking program titled "Chef Nepal, Food Reality TV Show" will premiere on September 1 on Kantipur TV. The reality show will be broadcasted at 9 pm on the channel.

"Chef Nepal" is organised with the aim of highlighting the culinary heritage of Nepal as well as looking for talented personalities who work behind the scene in kitchens.

According to the production team, the interesting stories, talented actors and the emotional depth presented in the show will be the main attraction of the program.

The runner-up of the BBC Masterchef Professional 2020 and the winner of the BBC Masterchef Professional Rematch 2021, Chef Santosh Shah, Expert Chef Ganesh Bahadur Dhakal and cook Laxman Prasad Bhandari will be the judges in the show. Sometimes famous personalities will also participate in the program.
