UML's conference date finalised for each province

KATHMANDU, Aug 14: CPN (UML) has finalised the date of its provincial conferences for all seven provinces. The conferences are going to be held for the selection of new leadership.

According to the UML Secretary, Yogesh Bhattarai, the secretariat meeting held at the UML party headquarters on Monday has scheduled the provincial conferences to be held from September 2 and end within October 9 in all provinces.

Secretary Bhattarai informed that the Lumbini Province conference will be held the earliest on September 2 and 3, while the Sudurpaschim conference will be held last on October 8 and 9.

Similarly, the provincial conference of Madhesh will be held on the 22nd and the 23rd of September, the Bagmati Province conference on September 25 and 26 and the Karnali Province conference on the 27th and the 28th of September.

The conferences for Koshi Province will be held on September 29 and 30, Gandaki Province on the 2nd and the 3rd of October and the special provincial conference for the Valley will be held on October 6 and 7, Secretary Bhattarai informed.

Chairman KP Sharma Oli will inaugurate the provincial conferences for all provinces.
