Poem: 'Indoctrinated Philosophers'

One can laugh & one can cry
but free as a bird, one can fly
to venture into an adventure that's full of danger
It's their freedom, it's their life !!

People want happiness, right?
some find bliss, yet some get misery
all in gambles, they look like sorcery
some survive alone, some for their family,
and there are some who believe in celibacy,
who need no husband, and need no wife !!

A complex idea, artists clarify, simplify
A simple knowledge, intellectuals confuse
Artists express with individual practice
Philosophers question, public only use !!

Older, a little wiser, while enthusiastic are youth
And pure are children, yet all are the same.
Those listening to their soul are free & divine and can influence a wide range
And don't underestimate, those souls have seeds of change.

But right now, power enslaves reason & peace is but for a season.
'Cause in this world, the Omnipotent is different everywhere
The Omnipresent is missed here and there
and the Omniscient seems very unclear
Their Conscience keeps vanishing & faith is no longer dear here
only worries are near, accompanied by fear.

Death is uncertain, but fear no knife,
Rejoice till you're alive, just stay away from strife
and live on freely, peacefully, and happily. 'Cause dear, it's your life.
So live how you want, still love even a plant,
And you can reach your dreams, don't say you can't.

But still; Why, Socrates had to die?
Why, Galileo had to lie?
Foolish traditions in different religions, I think that's why.
And each religion makes the other one cry
Why?
Isn't good your God?
Isn't love your religion?
Is your God really in the sky?
Oh my! Then why, do you make them cry, Why?

It's so sad that the world is turning so dark, so bad
Once intellectuals are now slaves to the fools
their bits of knowledge are now nothing but tools
Like their dad, couldn't acknowledge,
couldn't see virtues in his lad, when skepticism was all he had.
A lot of people's perceptions, so narrow, only a few think wide
and mocked here now is wisdom

The time is worse, only barbarians, only backbiters, only capricious autocrats,
Leaving us no choice, but to sit and bide in our hide, until the ride
to far away
To the place where we'll be free to wonder,
undisturbed by hurricanes and thunder
Cause philosophers want answers, with curiosity their power,
They only ask, and it may be their blunder
so they're mistaken as rambling idiots
But the idea contained in their innovative minds, searching for different possibilities,
certainly is useful for the welfare of mankind...
mankind on the brink of deformation, through foolish strife; intolerance; incomprehension.

But, those talking the truth fear drones and choppers
Some die willingly, and some as true lovers
And some are dominated, brainwashed, or forcefully caged
by duffers with outrageous tempting offers.
In fact, we need them, and they wanna be free,
Indoctrinated Philosophers.
