JSP calls emergency meeting to discuss government decision

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has called an emergency Executive Committee meeting for 11 am as the government is going to investigate the Gaur massacre case. The executive committee meeting called will be held at the party’s central office, Balkumari, Lalitpur, and will discuss the issue of forming a committee by the Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'-led government to investigate the Gaur massacre case.

An agreement was already reached between the government and the Gaur Massacre Victims' Struggle Committee. A leader said that according to the agreement, the government is going to form a committee to trap the party chairman Upendra Yadav, it is believed by JSP Nepal. He said that JSP may organize a program of protest against the investigation of the murder case.

Chair Yadav has already discussed the government's agreement with Sher Bahadur Deuba, the President of the chief party of the ruling coalition, the Nepali Congress. According to the sources, Yadav has already complained to Congress President Deuba that the committee is going to be formed to put him in a trap. He also discussed the issue yesterday with the top leaders and MPs of his party.
