UML obstructs parliament meeting after Home Minister's answer
KATHMANDU, Aug 8: The primary opposition party UML has obstructed today's House of Representatives meeting.
After Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha gave his answer in the meeting, the opposition party raised slogans stating that the minister didn't give an answer on the formation of high-level inquiry committee on the gold smuggling case.
As soon as the Home Minister finished his speech, the UML MPs rose from their seats and started protesting. The MPs protested by claiming that the Home Minister's answer was not satisfactory.
Following the protest, Speaker Devraj Ghimire has adjourned the meeting until 1 pm tomorrow.
