Meeting of top leaders ends, discussion to resume at 3:30

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: The meeting of the top leaders of the three main parties called by the Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire has ended.

The meeting was held at the Speaker's office in Singha Durbar in order to remove the obstruction of the Parliament but the leaders couldn't come to an agreement. 

Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak informed that another meeting will be held at 3:30 pm to reach an agreement. According to him, the parties are also preparing to reach a decision on the election of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee.

The House of Representatives meeting scheduled for 1 pm has also been postponed to 4 pm as the discussions between the parties have not finished.
