PM Dahal instructs MPs to play effective role in parliament

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has instructed the parliamentarians of the party to play an effective role in the parliament. Chief whip of the CPN Maoist Center Hitraj Pandey informed that Chair Dahal gave the instruction in the parliamentary party meeting of the Maoist Center held Monday morning.

Pandey informed that Chair Dahal claimed to draw a conclusion and remove the obstruction of the parliament after discussions with leaders of other parties including the main opposition.

According to Pandey, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha, who is also the vice-chairman of the party, informed about the central committee meeting and the role to be played by the members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly in the Federal Parliament. Shrestha also informed that the government is preparing to register three Bills related to the Federal Education Act, Civil Servant and Police.
