High-level team of Communist Party of China in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, July 23: The high-level leaders’ team of the Communist Party of China has arrived in Kathmandu. The team led by the politburo member of the Communist Party of China, Yuan Jiajun has arrived in Kathmandu.

Jiajun arrived in Kathmandu for a Nepal visit with a team of 25 members. The team is scheduled to hold important political meetings in Nepal. China’s Nepal Affairs Chief Yoya (Sarala) has already arrived in Nepal to make arrangements for the Jiajun-led team. Yoya, the diplomat of the Chinese Foreign Department has put her Nepali name ‘Sarala’. She arrived in Nepal on Saturday and is arranging the schedule of Jiajun’s visit and meetings.

It is said that Jiajun will meet with the top leaders of the Communist Parties and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba. The visit is expected to be of special importance in Nepal-China relations.
