Proposal in Congress to make 70 departments by adding 22

KATHMANDU, July 18: The General Minister of Nepali Congress Gagan Kumar Thapa has proposed to add 22 departments to the party. Currently, there are 48 departments and it has been proposed to make a total of 70 departments.

Thapa said, “There is a proposal to form all departments and give completion till Bhadra 15.” According to him, the departments should make a one-year work schedule along with their work plan and submit it to the central working committee by the end of the Nepali month Bhadra.

The progress report will have to be submitted to the Central Working Committee every 6 months and the Central Performance Committee will review it.
