Nepal batting against India, two wickets already down
KATHMANDU, July 17: In its second match of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup Cricket Tournament, Nepal has chosen to bat after winning the toss against India.
Nepal lost its first wicket in the second ball of the first over. Opener Batsman Kushal Bhurtel returned to the pavilion after Indian Bowler Harshit Rana took the wicket for India.
Aasif Sheikh returned to the pavilion second after he was caught out by wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel in Rajvardhan Hangargekar's ball. He made 7 runs. When Aasif was caught out in 5.1 overs, Nepal's score was 27 runs.
The tournament is being held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
