ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup Cricket: Nepal gives Pakistan 180-run-target
KATHMANDU, July 14: In its first match in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup Cricket Tournament, Nepal has given Pakistan a target of 180 runs. After winning the toss and batting first, the Nepali team scored 179 runs in 37 overs before becoming all-out.
Nepal’s Sompal Kami made a half-century. He made 75 runs facing 101 balls. He hit two sixes and nine fours. He returned to the pavilion as the last wicket.
No Nepali batsman in the top order could stay at the crease for long. Asif Sheikh was out for 12 runs, Arjun Saud 17, Kushal Malla 17, and Gulsan Jha was out for 13 runs. Pratis GC scored 26 runs.
