Nepal team departs for Sri Lanka for Emerging Teams Asia Cup

KATHMANDU, July 10: The Nepalese Cricket Team has left for Sri Lanka to participate in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup on Monday. The ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup will start on Thursday and take place until July 23. 

Nepal has been placed in Group 'B' of the competition. The group consists of India's 'A' team, Pakistan's 'A' team and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Similarly, Sri Lanka's 'A' team, Bangladesh's 'A' team, Afghanistan's 'A' team and Oman are in Group 'A'.

Nepal will play its first match on July 14 against Pakistan's 'A' team. Nepal will then play India's 'A' team in the second match on July 17. Nepal will play the third and final match of the group stage against UAE on July 19.
