Shristi Maharjan crowned "Miss Star Universe"

KATHMANDU, July 9: Shristi Maharjan has won the title of "Miss Star Universe 2023" in the competition organized at Hotel Bristol, Dubai. 

She won the international beauty pageant by beating contestants from 19 other countries. 22-year-old Maharjan also won the "Miss Gorgeous" and "Miss Pride of Star Universe" awards.

Maharjan expressed joy at winning the title of "Miss Star Universe 2023" and being able to represent her country internationally. "I participated with the goal of winning the title. The preparations were also for that purpose", she said, "I was also nervous participating in the international competition. I was able to succeed in the end."

Nepal's Joya Budhathoki also participated in the "Mrs. Star Universe 2023" program. She won the "Mrs. Beautiful Body" award.

Among the contestants, fashion make-up artist Rashmi Shrestha and businesswoman Parinda Shrestha 'Pari' won awards in their respective categories.

Anila Shrestha (Mrs. Universe Nepal 2019), Sudha M (Sudha Ventures owner), Isha Farha Quraishy, Hanif Sheikh, Arbind Limbavali and others were judges in the competition organized by the 'Indo International Fashion Carnival and Awards 2023'.
