KATHMANDU, July 8: Loan shark victims have surrounded the Federal Parliament Building demanding to pass the law against usury. The victims rallied to New Baneshwor and demonstrated a protest.

The Ordinance introduced to control usury became inoperative after opposition parties including UML, RSS and RPP obstructed the parliament. The protestors expressed their anger against the three parties claiming they were the associates of the land mafia.

The protestors raised slogans such as "Punish Sudakhor Mahajan", "Implement the agreement made on April 1", etc. during the protest.
