BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation supports Nepali Deaf Cricket team's participation in Tri-Nation ODI Tournament

KATHMANDU, July 9: The BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation takes immense pride in supporting the National Cricket Association of Deaf (Nepal) for their participation in the recently concluded (28 April-06 May 2023) Tri-Nation ODI Tournament in Kolkata. Organized by the Indian Deaf Cricket Association, the event witnessed the participation of deaf cricket teams from India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation provided financial support to the Nepali team, ensuring their participation in the tournament, as well as facilitating their travel and providing essential sports materials. The Foundation’s support to the Nepali team aimed not only to enhance their sporting abilities but also to promote inclusivity, raise awareness about deafness and provide a platform for the deaf community to showcase their skills and inspire others.

During the felicitation event held on 07 July 2023, BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation extended its appreciation to the National Cricket Association of Deaf Nepal and the players from Nepal for overcoming challenges and exhibiting sportsman spirit. Their participation also promoted mutual goodwill between India and Nepal and strengthened the people-to-people ties between the two countries.
