India wins SAFF Championship

KATHMANDU, July 5: India has won the 14th SAFF Championship title. India won the title defeating Kuwait in the finals match last night with a penalty shootout with 5-4 goals. The SAFF Championship was held in Bangalore, India.

The match entered into a penalty shootout after the game in the regular and the extended time ended in a 1-1 draw, which India won. This is the 9th SAFF Championship title India has won.
