Speaker Ghimire meets top leaders of three main parties

KATHMANDU, July 4: Speaker Devraj Ghimire’s discussion with the top leaders of the three main parties has started. Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, leader of the main opposition party and UML Chair KP Sharma Oli and President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba have reached the office of Speaker Ghimire at Singhdarbar.

It has been said that the topic of the selection of the chairman of the parliamentary committee and making the parliament effective will be discussed. On April 28, 10 thematic committees of the House of Representatives were formed. Two weeks after the formation of the committee, the meeting of all 10 committees started on May 16. However, the committees have not been able to discuss the bill as the chairman has not been elected.
