Coalition to appoint Congress's Uddhav Thapa as Koshi Chief Minister

KATHMANDU, July 3: The ruling coalition has made the decision to make Congress leader Uddhav Thapa the Chief Minister of Koshi Province. During the meeting held on Monday at Baluwatar in PM's residence, an agreement was made to appoint the Koshi Province Congress leader as the Chief Minister.

After the UML parliamentary party leader Hikmat Kumar Karki's government failed to receive a Vote of Confidence, Congress's Thapa got the opportunity to become the Chief Minister as the finality of the first term.
