Agreement made to hold Provincial Assembly meeting

MAKAWANPUR, July 3: An agreement has been made between parties to hold the Provincial Assembly meeting of the Bagmati Province. The meeting will resume today after the ruling party agreed to address the demands of the main opposition party CPN-UML in the budget.

An all-party meeting was organized to discuss the Provincial Assembly meeting today. UML Chief Informer Madhusudan Paudel, Finance Minister Bahadur Singh Lama, Maoist Chief Informer Ratna Dhakal and RPP leader Uddhav Thapa were present in the meeting.

A leader present in the meeting informed that UML agreed to submit its budget plan to the government in written format and that the government would include it in the budget. 

After the agreement, the Provincial Assembly meeting will be held today at 2 pm. The Provincial Assembly meeting was previously scheduled for 11 am on Monday.
