KATHMANDU, June 7: The Paradise International Manpower Company located in Lalitpur was raided by a team of the Foreign Employment Department on Wednesday. On the complaints of illegally gathering and interviewing hundreds of young people who want to work abroad, the department conducted a raid on the Manpower Company.

At the Manpower office located in Bakhundol, interviews were conducted one after another to take youths to Qatar and Malaysia. According to the department however, they mentioned one company and took interviews for another. The company also tried to charge tens of thousands of rupees for free tickets and visas.

During the raid, the department has taken possession of the documents. The people involved in the illegal activities fled when the department raided the Manpower.
