KATHMANDU, June 4: In the last five days, the weather has been clear and sunny. With the temperature rising, more heat has been felt every day.

According to the Hydrology and Meteorology’s Forecasting Division, there is a partial effect of western winds and local winds on the climate. The temperature in some districts of Terai has skyrocketed over 40 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in Kathmandu has also risen.

Kathmandu’s swimming pools are getting crowded as the temperature rises. People are visiting the swimming pools to cool their bodies and protect themselves from the heat. 

Meteorologists have warned of the possibility of the temperature rising even further. As the monsoon is delayed, the crowd in Kathmandu’s swimming pools is sure to increase.
