Maoist Center takes back its Ministers from Madhes Provincial Government
JANAKPURDHAM, May 23: Maoist Center has decided to take back its Ministers from the Madhes Provincial Government, expressing dissatisfaction with the division of ministries.
With discussions going on for a few days about which and how many ministries will be given to which party, Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav prepared for the swearing-in today by asking for names of leaders from Congress and CPN Unified Socialist, angering the Maoists.
Bharat Prasad Sah, a leader of the Maoist Center in Madhes province, said that the party has called the ministers back and that the support given to the government will also be withdrawn.
From the Maoist Center, Sunita Yadav has been handling the Ministry of Industry, Forest and Tourism, while Rahabar Ansari is the Minister of State, in the Janata Samajbadi Party-led government.
Meanwhile, a joint meeting of the Janamat Party, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party and Maoist Center, who are dissatisfied with the government, is also being held.
