SAFF Championship Football: India and Pakistan in Group 'A' with Nepal

KATHMANDU, May 17: The group division of the SAFF Championship Football competition has been made public. In the 14th edition of the SAFF Championship that is going to be held in Bangalore, India from June 21 to July 4, Nepal is in Group 'A' with India, Pakistan, and Kuwait.
Similarly, Lebanon, Bhutan, Maldives and Bangladesh are in Group 'B'. It is the fourth time that India is going to organize the SAFF Championship.
Sri Lanka will not be participating due to the restriction placed by FIFA, while Kuwait and Lebanon will be participating as invited teams.
The 14th edition was set to be organized in Bangladesh, but it will be organized by India after Bangladesh is unable to organize the competition.
